Our featured resident fought heroically in Southeast Asia during World War II. After the war, while raising four children with his wife, he worked as a delivery truck driver.
All the while he tended a garden filled with vegetables.

Now during the warm months, he helps tend the flower gardens at Brooks House. He also enjoys helping tidy up the main gathering rooms as the mood strikes him.

When asked how he’s doing, his answer is always a cheery, “A-one!”
